Roland has worked for Tulare County for over 30 years. He is currently the Assistant-Assessor/Clerk-Recorder and has worked in this capacity for over 5 years. Prior to becoming the Assistant-Assessor, Roland was the Chief-Appraiser for over 17 years. He began his career with Tulare County as an Appraiser.
Roland is married to his wife, Linda, and they have two daughters. Linda is an educator and has taught in the Porterville area for over 30 years. They reside in Porterville and are active in community affairs in and around Porterville.
Roland attended Porterville area schools and graduated from Porterville High School. He has a BS degree from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in Business Administration. He holds a Senior Appraiser's designation from the American Society of Appraisers; an Advanced Appraiser's Certificate from the California State Board of Equalization; and a Certified General Appraisal Certificate from the California State Office of Real Estate Appraisers.
Roland is a Life Member in the Veterans of Foreign Wars (Vietnam service 1969-70); a Life Member in the American Legion; and is active in numerous clubs and organizations.
On June 8th please vote Roland P. Hill for Assessor\Clerk-Recorder. He has the experience to lead.
